How are credits consumed during analysis?
It depends on the analysis mode. Wide (fast noise screening) costs 190 credits for the first 3 seconds of REF audio plus 5 credits per additional second — a 5-second REF costs 200 credits. Wide+ AI Diagnosis adds an AI-written diagnosis and costs 430 credits for the first 3 seconds plus 62 credits per additional second up to 19 seconds (a 10-second REF costs 864 credits); from 20 seconds it costs 193 credits × seconds + 730 (a 20-second REF costs 4,590 credits, a 30-second REF 6,520). Wide+ accepts REF audio up to 31 seconds. Billing is based on the REF audio length; excluding the start or end of a recording from the limit judgment does not reduce the charge. 1,000 credits = 1 USD, with a minimum purchase of 3 USD. There are no monthly subscriptions — you only pay for the analyses you run.
How do I install the client on macOS?
Download the .dmg file, open it, and drag Tangai_Hear_System into your Applications folder. The app is signed and notarized by Apple, so on the first launch just click Open when macOS asks. It requires a Mac with Apple Silicon running macOS 26 or later.
Why does Windows show a SmartScreen warning?
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen warns about installers it has not seen many times before. If you see “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, check that the file is Tangai_Hear_System_Setup (for example Tangai_Hear_System_Setup_v1.0.4.exe) downloaded from this site, then click Run anyway. The warning does not affect how the program works.
Are my audio files and proprietary data secure?
Absolutely. The desktop client securely uploads your test audio to an encrypted, temporary Google Cloud Storage bucket solely for diagnostic purposes. We guarantee that your private test files are never used to train any public AI models.
